With the merger of two companies, one owned by Burton Manth and the other owned by Vernon Brownell, ManthBrownell was born. ManthBrownell began manufacturing parts in 1951. After a few successful years in business, ManthBrownell was purchased by Wesley Skinner Sr in 1962. ManthBrownell expanded its customer base and grew with those customers as they grew. By engineering a manufacturing solution, Mr. Skinner developed a long term relationship with one of our largest customers. This type of relationship building is what has set ManthBrownell apart, and allowed constant growth in the industry.

ManthBrownell has grown from 20 employees in 1970 to about 150 over three shifts of production. Our staff consists of Operators, Setup Personnel, Engineers, Quality, and other support staff. Our employees are our most valuable asset, most ranging in 10+ years of service. Our longest term of employment was 45 years!

As the business grew, so did the building. What was once a 4000 sq ft. building in 1962, has grown to two buildings totaling 135,000 sq ft! This can be seen in the photograph on the home page.

ManthBrownell is situated just east of Syracuse, New York in a rural area called Kirkville on a 40 acre site. Our expansive facility is visible from the New York State Thruway (just look for our sign - pictured left) For directions to our facility, click here.
