Manth Brownell is excited to announce that they have recently added two more Citizen machines to our CNC Value Stream. Remarkably, in the last 18 months, the Company has invested in ten additional machines for the CNC operation, making it the fastest growing department in the entire organization. A total of nine jobs have also been created in the same time frame.
The addition of the latest two machines, an M20 and an L32, will increase capacity for the CNC Value Stream and will allow for a greater variety of work to be manufactured at the CNC facility, including those requiring more technical and advanced machining capabilities.
Manth Brownell was able to purchase the new equipment with financial assistance from the Madison County Center for Economic Development, the Greater Syracuse Business Development Corporation and Central NY Enterprise Development Corporation. Each agency was able to lend $100,000 toward the expansion at Manth Brownell. “This is a good example of agencies working together to provide financial assistance to local companies," said Madison County IDA Director Kipp Hicks. "The equipment purchased with these loans will help to increase Manth-Brownell's competitiveness in the market in which they operate.”
The machines have just been moved into place and our CNC team is in the process of bringing them online.
